Victoria and Ryan: Sylvan Lake Estates Wedding

It is so easy to go into a wedding with the idea that it needs to be perfect--that it's about the right flowers and the dress or a fancy venue. And yes, I can geek out on those things as much as anyone--look what I do for a living.

Victoria and Ryan's wedding last weekend was a beautiful reminder of what these days are truly about. I loved seeing how all the women came together to help the bride get ready, how Victoria and Ryan's combined 8 parents and step-parents graciously shared this day and celebrated with each other. And I loved watching the couple settle into dinner once the rush of the day was over--taking in this amazing collection of people assembled before them and knowing in their hearts what perfect really is.
